Hannah & Brenden | A Walk in the Park | Milwaukee, WI
Growing up in Appleton, I've visited Milwaukee a number of times over the years and have explored the Milwaukee Art Museum several times. I never knew that right next to it would be a beautiful state park! Nested along the shores of Lake Michigan, it has stunning views of the city and lake. I was also really surprised to discovered that due to an agreement with the city of Milwaukee, it was free to visit without a park pass! Chee La and I have been self isolating at home for the past few months so it was a nice change to be able to walk around (with our face covered of course).
We met Hannah & Brenden outside the Art Museum for the first half of the session and they were so fun to photograph. They are high school sweethearts and originally had their wedding schedule for earlier this year but had to reschedule to August due to Covid. It was the perfect time for us to meet them as they had just traveled back from Colorado where they live currently. If you know us, you know we love exploring and Colorado is a photographer/hiker's dream! Chee La and I had such a fun chat with them about all the places here and there that they had visited.
Even without epic mountain views, the cityscape was stunning! Milwaukee has so much to offer and the Art Museum and Lakeshore State Park was the perfect location for their engagement session. The photos turned out beautifully and we even got a bit of the sunset. Hannah & Brenden, we cannot wait for your wedding day at Villa Terrace in August!
