Hannah & Brenden | Enchanted Villa Wedding | Villa Terrace, Milwaukee
This year has definitely been a tough one. COVID19 has affected just about everything from simple tasks like grocery shopping to big ones like planning your wedding day. As photographers we've had to reschedule our whole summer and work with our clients and their vendors to ensure we all come to a solution that works best for everyone. It looked bleak early on in the year with venues and events being shut down but we were wishing for the best. Things did gradually start opening back up to small groups and we are so glad that Hannah & Brenden were still able to have their wedding day. They are such a sweet and loving couple. We absolutely loved capturing their day.
The locations they chose were majestic, every single one of them. We could've spent an entire day at each one especially since they both looked their absolute best. Brenden was looking sharp and smiling the entire day knowing he was going to spend the rest of his life with his soon to be wife. Hannah looked glowing and her wedding dress was just so gorgeous with it's lace and long flowing train. They both went to Marquette University so the first look took place at the Joan of Arc chapel. It was a great backdrop as Hannah tapped Brenden on his shoulder and he saw her for the first time!
Being in Milwaukee it wouldn't be right to not stop by the Milwaukee Art Museum for some quick shots as well. The rest of the day was spent at Villa Terrace. Chee La and I were just in love with the venue. It has been on my list of places to shoot for the longest time and I'm so happy to finally be able to shoot a wedding there. Everything about it was amazing. The old stone and beautiful bricks along with the open courtyard just screamed at us to take as many photos as we could. Taking the long long stairway down to the garden is a must as well. At the base there is so much greenery as well as a breathtaking view of the villa on top.
The day flew by and before we knew it Hannah and Brenden were already running through the crowd of sparklers and into their car. We wish them the best as they continue their journey in life together as husband and wife.
